Panagbenga '08

WARNING:
Late post po. heheh..di ko kasi na-blog on time eh.

February 23, 2008. Ciempre pa, papasok na ko sa Wednesday as advised by our company doctor kaya naman tinodo ko na ang aking bakashon grande. I was surprised and excited when I learned na pupunta kaming Baguio ni atekoi. It was a gloomy Saturday, after nung shift at gala nila, nung bumyahe kami papuntang "City of Pines."
LESSON: Be there before 20 minutes next time, or else...

Guess what? Goodness gracious. Kumain muna kami at nagpaumaga na sa terminal.

Nung mejo lumiwanag na sa labas{6am na kasi, madilim pa eh}, we decided to start looking for a place na papag-stay-an namin. Out we went and then inquired dun sa may information booth. Good thing, merong available. We were able to get 'yung standard room for 1,100php/night.

Sakto 'ung dating namin sa Session Road. Nagstart ung parade at around 830am. Mejo malas nga lang kasi umaambon. Have we known, sana nagdala kami ng payong {owwwsss!?}. As the parade started, sobrang na-amaze ako sa ganda ng mga floats. Aliw na aliw ako. Andami daming bulaklak! Same is true with different groups of street dancers. Ang gagaling nila! Kembot dito, kembot doon. Banda rito, banda roon.

We followed the parade of floats hanggang sa open field whereas dun i-aannounce ung winners. There were 32 participants but only 14 joined the competition proper. After a very tough walk through sa crowded {literal} area, we were able to get as close as possible sa mga floats. Whee!! totoong flowers! Andami dami dami! Andami dami ko pa palang hindi nakikitang flowers and that made me love more the beauty and wonder of nature! i s0o0o l0ve it!

First Day sa Office..

H U M M M M..hikab.hikab.hikab. Excited as I am, I never thought I'd be such a sleepy baby.

After 3 straight weeks of leave, I'm finally off to work. My colleagues were as excited as I am and their warm welcome pushed me to finally feel na tapos na ang bakasyon grande. =)

Kinabahan ako at first. Marunong pa ba ko mag-calls? Ano bang latest? Updates?

Nakakatuwa ang aking pagbabalik, I still feel I belong. heheheh..sobrang masaya ako.

I had lunch with Lee, talked about her planned resignation {geee..sad}. Lagi kasi akong nauubusan eh.

Not to mention, we are family dito sa account na 'to. hehehe..pasintabi sa iba. Ahem. Ewan ko lang. Toinks! joke, joke, joke..wag lagyan ng kulay!

Haay..I just missed everybody and everything about work and I'm happy 'coz I'm back in the game! =)

VALENTINE MADNESS

Valentine's Day

Hmmm..for lovers? not really. basta nagmamahal ka, pasok ka dito! hehehe..

I had multiple V-Day dates. hehehe..

FIRST was a date with my super bestest friend, MAPLE. After her shift, we went to the mall and went window shopping. We originally planned to watch a movie kaso, hindi swak sa schedule kasi may pasok cia the next day. Thanks, ate! Though hindi ganun kaganda ang paghihiwalay natin, I can say na masayang masaya ako kasi nakasama kita today. =)

SECOND was an almost late night date with Lebitots. It was a surprise-reserved date. I really had no idea kung san nya ko dadalin but because this person proved himself, he's worth my trust and so, sumama ako. Di ako nagkamali, all safe and wholesome talaga kasama itong si Lebitot. Guess what kung san niya ko dinala? Clue? It was a unique experience kasi first time ko. Funny nga kasi muka kong tanga. Know why? Kasi po, binigyan kami ng shorts after the foot scrub session. Literal, sinuot ko lang and left my blouse on! Long sleeves oa naman. She asked me to remove it tuloy. Hiyang hiya ako nun. Magbold daw ba?! hehehe..after that dumapa na ko. She started the massage and I fell asleep. Ansarap ng feeling. Relaxing, sobra! Amazing! Nice one, Lebs! Kakaiba itong experience na ito. Thanks a bunch! ☺

THIRD was a date with my dear Joel. He's my former colleague sa NCO-RMH. We went sa ABS-CBN tapos we waited for my baby bear. Plan was to eat somewhere para i-celebrate ang V-Day. Mega tambay kami at chika habang naghihintay sa kanya and to our surprise, late na rin cia nakapag-prepare. We went to Mr.Kabab. Kumain kami ng aming fave na Keema with garlic mayo tapos yogurt at fruit shake. After kumain, umuwi na kami sa PBB. As usual, inampon muna nila ako. Neng, thank you much! I admire you for being oh so strong! Stay the same.

FOURTH date naman was with my Baby Bear, KAT. She even gave me a big hug para mapatahan. In fairness, un lang nakapagpatahan sakin. Comedy pa 'tong si Pipaw! Hmmmp! Pasaway. Pero, Baby Bear, I want to thank you for listening and for you heart pounding hug. I really appreciate it! Looking forward to more bonding moments with you..

Dream Escapade

Hmmm..anytime this year, I'm hoping to visit Lago de Oro in Batangas. There are a lot of things to do here {based on their website}. One can do:

  • Waterski or wakeboarding by cable ski system
  • Swimming in the pool or in the sea
  • Walking/jogging around the ski lake
  • Playing volleyball/basketball
  • Playing indoor games such as billiards, darts, cards andtable tennis
  • Reading book at our library
  • Watching movies/sports/news by dream satellite TV
  • Relax and enjoy having massage using sandalwood oil from Western Australia
  • Enjoy while having your manicure/pedicure/foot spa
  • Tour nearby places including sugar mill, sugar cane plantation, rice fields and more
  • Play golf
  • Fishing in the sea or lake
  • Rent a balsa and relax while having your lunch on the sea
  • Rent a boat and see the coastlines natural beauty
  • Riding a carabao when it’s low tide
  • Collecting beautiful sea shells when its low tide
  • Snorkelling
  • Experience feeding sheep and lambs
  • Watch the most spectacular sunset just in front of Lago

What I really wanna try is yung wakeboarding by cable ski. Dapat ata magwarm up for that kasi I believe it would require huge amount of energy and strength to keep you going. Bawal daw malambot ang tuhod dito e..heheh.

I have checked the rates and it's not bad din. Check this out {directly from their website}:

sizzling thursday

we are in the process of transition for a whole new 24/7 schedule. after a week of work, finally, rest day na. nakakatuwa kasi i had enough energy to stay up late till 2pm after shift (which ends at 830am) watching my favorite episodes {repeatedly} of the famous coffee prince (episode16 and 17). funny, it made me cry for the nth time. looking at the brightest side of it, it made me feel better watching the scene where Eun Chan had to leave Han Kyul and after years of being apart, they still feel the same. it's as if it was just a day that passed. distance made their hearts grow fonder, huh! i love it!

later that afternoon, Levy asked for a possible dinner and even asked my mom for permission. at pumayag naman si mother db?! in fairness, he had given me enough time to make up for the long hours ive kept myself up and kickin.' restless. hehehe..finally, i woke up and had myself dressed up. after a few minutes of preparation, we left. we took a cab and off we went to Timog and had our dinner at Danny's Grill. Oh, i just love their grilled pusit! we started with green mangoes with bagoong alamang while waiting for our veggies (i believe it was sauted broccolli) and baked tuna. YUM! we loved the pusit so much that we get to feast on another one.

surprisingly, he bought a mini-bouquet of roses from one of the vendors who seemed to be looking at us the whole time. we weren't able to consume everything that we ordered so we asked the waiter to pack the rest for take out.

hmmm..just wanna give credits to Lebs for a very simple but "nakakabondat," not to mention, MAGASTOS na gabi.hehehe. {iba talaga pag malaki ang bonus! bwahaha..} =)
